This means no cookie-cutter advice, mentors who you can actually get along with, and the freedom to speak with your mentor whenever you please. To achieve this, Vantaged gives you and your mentor complete autonomy — schedule meetings when you please, text each other whenever, and treat your mentorship like any other friendship.

The world runs on incentives, and a mentorship is no exception. Conventional mentorship programs charge high upfront fees even if you don’t land a job, so the incentives are completely misaligned since the mentor is getting paid no matter what. Vantaged flips this model on its head: Our mentors only get paid if and only if you land a job. This way, Vantaged mentors are motivated to land you a job and you have no risk to pay us otherwise.
